Tuesday Ten: Favorite Christmas Cookies!

Today I'm going to share 10 of my favorite Christmas cookies with you!! :) Each picture links back to the recipe for ease of access!! Enjoy!!

Sugar Cookies! A classic and done differently in every household. These were my grandmother's specialty!
No bake cookies. I'm terrible at making these, but I have a good friend who makes THE BEST ones ever. :)
Gingerbread cookies - a must have!!
Scocharoos - although we don't put the chocolate/butterscotch on top of ours. My other grandmother made these all the time. :)
Spritz!! Such a great little cookie.
Shortbread. One of my favorite cookies. I can't wait to make some of these with the butter I just bought!!
Snickerdoodles. YUM!
Peanut butter - a classic but a favorite!
Peanut butter blossoms (what can I say, I love peanut butter!). Yum!!
Are you seeing a PB trend here? Being from Ohio, Buckeyes are a MUST at every holiday. My sister makes the best buckeyes.
So there you have my 10 favorite Christmas cookies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What are some of your favorite cookies?

Oooh! Pretty shiny.

Today I'm going to share 10 of my favorite ornaments with you. Some of these are from my childhood that I've confiscated for my own tree (we three kids had our own boxes of ornaments as kids and we could put ours up on the tree and then when we moved out, they could go with us) and some are new ones that I've acquired since living on my own.

First, my tree. :) It's decorated in pink and silver. Everyone thinks that because my tree is 'pink and silver' that the tree is actually pink when, in fact, it is not. It's green. And it was free. So there. :)

Now, my favorite ornaments:
1. Fairly self-explanatory: first Christmas ornament from my grandparents (mom's parents);
2. Angel ornament that was, at some point, given to my aunt by us, or from my aunt, or somehow associated with my beloved Aunt Penny;
3. One of the first ornaments I bought for my tree;
4. Angel ornament that I bought at one of the many Christmas markets in Munich in 2005 when I was visiting. So much fun!
5. Cow bell ornament - love the pun;
6. MUC 2006 ornament - the year I walked for my BA (graduated in 12/05);
7. Another cow ornament (I have a thing for cows...always have loved them);
8. G clef bell ornament - I love the rhinestones on it, too;
9. The CUTEST reindeer EVER - made from bells - bought at Old Navy, of all places;
10. Pottery ornament I made this year with friends at the paint your own pottery place. I'm taking JJ there on Saturday to make more. :)

So, there are 10 of my favorite ornaments. Do you have any?

Tuesday Ten - Christmas Movies!

Today I'm going to share with you 10 of my favorite Christmas movies and a bonus 3 of Brandi's! I like all 13 on this list, but the first 10 are my absolute favorites (in no order, of course) and the last 3 are just a bonus three so Brandi could get in on this too. :)

Each image is linked to the Amazon page so you can get more info or purchase it!

Here you go:

I watch The Muppet Christmas Carol EVERY year.

I know that Sleepless in Seattle isn't really a Christmas movie, but I included it because I watch it at Christmas as there is Christmas/New Year in the movie.

I hope you enjoyed our list - what are some of your favorites?

Tuesday 10 - Free Printables!!

Today I'm going to share with you 10 of my favorite free fall printables. I love everything about fall, and these are some of my favorite printables that I've found.

Some of them are going to be decorating my house for Thanksgiving this year, too! You can check out our Thanksgiving Extravaganza 2011 pinboard to see what ideas we've come up with so far (I'm hosting at my house, but Brandi and her family will be joining my family for one big happy family dinner!).
